Tamera Hamm, 2nd Grade Teacher

Originally from Liberty, KY, Tamera Hamm earned a BA in education and a teaching English as a second language endorsement from EKU. She has been a substitute teacher in Madison County for two years and is thrilled to have her own classroom.

Her husband, Josh, proposed on the summit of a mountain. They attend New Heights church in Berea and reside in Richmond with their fierce toy poodle, Sailor. She enjoys long walks with her family, movie nights, nature photography, reading, and writing. She loves all God’s creatures great and small; her dream is to own a little farm with goats, chickens, and one very lucky pet cow.

Tamera believes that each child is a beacon of light and when equipped with the teachings of the Lord, they can and will change the world.
