Tammie Watson, Study Skills/Latin and Speech - Orton Gillingham Instructor
Email: tammie.watson@ccschool.net

Tammie is a Kentucky native and has lived in Stanton most of her life.  She is a country girl at heart.
When it comes to her career paths, Tammie is very diverse and has many different interests. She has been a part of Calvary Christian School since the fall of 2001 with several different job responsibilities including but not limited to: computer lab instruction for all ages, part-time preschool 4’s, and middle school History and Bible.  Currently, she teaches Latin, Speech and Communications, and Study Skills.
She has been in Christian education for many years and can honestly say she has taught children of former students.  Amongst other teaching experiences, she taught computers to students from 2 years old to seniors in high school before coming to Calvary Christian School.
Tammie is also a Kentucky state licensed real estate agent and works for Natural Bridge Realty in Stanton, Kentucky.  Also, she is an Orton-Gillingham tutor.
Tammie is married to Tony Watson and they have two sons.  Her oldest son attended Calvary from Kindergarten till he graduated 8th Grade in Calvary’s 1st Eighth Grade class in May of 2010.  Her youngest son started Calvary in 2003 and graduated 8th Grade in 2014.  Both have had success in their post Calvary Christian School endeavors, which the Watsons attribute, in part, to the strong foundation received at CCS.  Her family members are big CCS fans.
The Watson family attends church at the Stanton First Church of God, where they are extremely active. Tony has served on the church Board of Directors for many years and Tammie is a children's church teacher.
Tammie truly enjoys her job at Calvary Christian School.  She loves the Christian atmosphere and the ability to teach students about Christ.  Through her co-workers and school families, she has many strong friendships that have developed through the years.
She will quickly tell you “Calvary Christian School Lions are awesome!!!!!!!”.
