Hello! My name is Brittany and I graduated from BCTC in 2014. I was born and raised here in Winchester, Kentucky. This will be my 4th year working at Calvary. My first year I was a 2’s floater, my second year I was a 3’s teacher, and last year I was able to teach P.E. for both preschool and elementary. I have been very blessed in every position I have been given here at Calvary and so thankful to get to know all the students. I am so excited to be able to broaden where God may use me, and I will be substitute teaching this upcoming year. My son and I have also been attending Calvary’s church for 2 years now and love all the people we get to fellowship and serve. They feel like our second family. I have one 6-year-old son, Callahan, who will be in kindergarten this year. He is full of loving-kindness with a touch of silliness along with being a whirlwind of adventure who keeps me on my toes. When I am not working or with my son, I enjoy volunteering within Calvary’s CR Landing program, at The Rac, with Calvary’s youth group, and helping with Calvary’s small groups throughout the school year. I also enjoy activities such as hiking, kayaking, camping, crocheting, playing board games, reading, painting and cooking. I love getting to work with all children/students of all ages. It is a calling God has placed on my heart and a blessing that I will always be grateful for. Children bring so much joy and love into this world and it is a gift to be able to help them fully become who God created them to be. I thank God daily for the opportunity that I get to be a part of these children’s lives and that I get to work alongside so many inspiring, encouraging, and uplifting people here at Calvary. I stand in Awe of God daily and I am grateful I get to serve our loving and mighty God in all the ways that I can. I can not wait to see how God works throughout this school year and many more to come.
