I'm excited to be teaching Kindergarten here at Calvary Christian School.  I have 20+ years experience teaching Preschool and in Preschool Administration.  I have a B.S. degree in Family Studies from the University of Kentucky and my Director's Credential from Morehead State University.  

Fresh out of college I worked with at risk youth in Powell County. After several years there I had an opportunity to work at Clark County HeadStart. I later went on to work at Good Shepherd Day School for many years and got a taste of administration of running Summer Camp there for several years. I briefly left teaching all together to become a Police Officer in Lexington. I missed teaching and went on to teach at Gan Shalom Preschool. I left Gan Shalom to become Assistant Director of Crestwood Childcare in Lexington. I later went to work for a friend starting a new and upcoming preschool in Paris, Ky., but it eventually closed for financial reasons. After that I took a break and then came to Calvary Christian School.  Calvary Christian Church has been my home Church since my teen years, so this was a perfect fit.  

I grew up in Winchester and still have strong connections here, as well as family that live in Winchester.  I live in the Hamburg area in Lexington which is only a hop, skip and jump away.  I look forward to an exciting year!
