A Kentucky native, Kay earned her BA degree in English and Sociology from Morehead State University with graduate work in Education. She has taught in Christian schools
for 20 years at all grade levels, Pre-K through 12, and in the Upward Bound Program at Morehead State University. Kay has also been named to Who's Who Among America's Teachers. She and her husband, Ron, have been married for 35 years and have three sons and six grandchildren. Kay lives in Richmond and attends Journey Community Church where she serves in children's and women's ministries.
Kay feels blessed and excited to be returning to CCS full time and looking forward to what God has in store for her class. Her greatest desire is to see her students receive a quality education and be nurtured in their faith that they may fulfill their purpose in the Kingdom of God.
