Rachel Gilliam teaches high-school literature and journalism at the Mount Carmel Campus. During her tenure at Calvary, she has taught 2-year-old preschool, fourth-grade, middle-school, and high-school.
She has previously taught middle-school and high-school literature and journalism in the Clark County Public Schools and English 101 and 102 at the University of Louisville.
She received a bachelor of arts in English from Centre College in 2006, a master of arts in English/rhetoric and composition at the University of Louisville in 2008, and a master of arts in teaching from Morehead State University in 2017.
She currently resides in Richmond with her three daughters, Anna, Olivia, and Emma, also Calvary students. She attends Christview Christian Church in Winchester.
